Ann McKinstry has spent 35+ years in the healthcare field, primarily focused on pediatric patient quality and safety measures. She has been enjoying time at Priest Lake annually since she was a child, just as her father did before her. Ann now spends quality time lakeside with her husband and family, attempting to take no day in this cherished paradise for granted. When asked if she would submit her name for Fire Commissioner, she was happy to assist her community and to join others in taking next steps to advance fire and medical response coverage for everyone.

As we have entered into a new year and put another one behind us, we are thrilled to share the progress we’ve made and the hope we have for the future.
We have 15 fantastic volunteers that responded to the community last year. Just to name a few of the incidents:

- Boat Fire: 1
- Down Power Line: 1
- Alarm System: 1
From the calls we had last year and the continued training we take, we are looking forward to serving our community in 2024 and beyond.
